Thinking Of You

Hello! Today I have a simple little card to share with you that uses the technique of coloring with your Copic markers on kraft cardstock. You have to be a bit more careful with the colors you choose as not all colors, especially the light ones, will show up.

The cute image is called G503 Summertime Birdie and the sentiment is B195 Playful Thinking of You

Dog Tag...Literally!

Hi, friends!  It's time for me to share another creation using fabulous stamps from the Great Impressions online store! Today I have a cute tag to share--it's a DOG TAG! I don't usually make tags, but this stamp just needed to become one. :)  Come and take a peek...

I started by stamping F296 Dog Square onto some white card.  I colored in the different panels using Sakura glitter gel pens for shine.  I used primary colors for a fun, bold, and bright look.

I added the panel to a tag that was made using patterned paper and black card.  The top was gussied up with some yellow frilly ribbon, baker's twine, and a glittery red foam heart.  An eyelet at the top of the tag helps to keep the tag intact.

I just adore the way this turned out!  I think it's just super darling and fun!  What do you think?  I would love for you to let me know by leaving a comment below!

That's all for me today!  I'll be back next Monday with another creation using stamps from the Great Impressions store.  I hope you join in our current challenge, and, if you use Great Impressions stamps, link them up in our Customer Gallery, too!  HUGS and happy stamping to you all!

Bunny Buns

Happy Saturday!

I'm here today with a fun card for Great Impressions Stamps.
I posted a card a few days ago, using some 'front and back' bunnies
Today, I'm using some new 'front and back' stamps!

For today's card, I used Great Impressions F602-Bunny Peeking InB245-Wishing You a Happy Easterand D493-Bunny Buns.

Hope you smiled at this one!  The pieces on these two were not shaped totally alike, so I had to use my imagination a bit to make the window card work

Don't forget - there are still a couple of days to join us in this month's 'Go Green' challenge (HERE!). If you use any GI stamps be sure to link up to the customer gallery (HERE)

Be sure to stop by the Great Impressions store (HERE) and treat yourself to a few new stamps!

You are Special

Hello! Today I have a fun spring card to share with you. I had a lot of fun coloring this image, it just makes me smile! My son came in to see what I was doing and said, "make the wheelbarrow red." So I did :)

I watercolored my image which is called H263 Springtime Louie with my Tombow markers and a Winsor and Newton #4 round brush. My sentiment was stamped and trimmed out using the G483 Tags set. I am sure ready for spring, how about you?

I started by stamping the image, G264 Bunnies Taking a Peek, onto white card.  I colored it in with Spectrum Noir markers in bold colors.

I then stamped part of D494 TuTu You underneath the image.  I added a few pink enamel dots to give some added color.

This panel was then added to a yellow card base.  I added some pink velvet trim to the bottom, too.  I LOVE the fun CAS feel of this card!  What do you think?  Please do let me know in a comment below!

Happy Easter Tu Tu You...

Happy Saturday!
Hope you are all well, and enjoying a beautiful weekend.
Mother Nature is still pretty crabby here in Mo.

It's Saturday, and you know what that means - I'm here to share a fun project for

The Great Impressions' design team has been busy all week long, showcasing fun and fabulous ways to wrap up those Easter treats.  If you haven't been checking out the posts this week, be sure to do so - loads of inspiration!

I began with a white lunch bag, and two squares of blue cardstock.

I laid the bag down, turned it over, and smoothed the back 'bag bottom' down flat.

Then I trimmed the entire bag down several inches.

I stamped and colored the image and sentiment, and adhered that panel
to a piece of fun patterned paper.

A grass die cut was added to the bottom for a bit of fun.

This entire focal panel was then adhered to one of the blue cardstock squares.

A label punch was used to create openings on each blue panel,
and each panel was adhered to the bag front with Tombow Extreme adhesive.

The bag was filled with pink grass and lots of Easter candies, and tied shut with
a scrap of ribbon.

Hope this inspired to you grab that stash of lunch bags, and your Great Impressions
Stamps, and get creative!  By the way, isn't this image Tu Tu cute???

Thanks for stopping by today!

Don't forget - there is still time to join us in this month's 'Go Green' challenge (HERE!) and if you use any GI stamps be sure to link up to the customer gallery (HERE)

Easter Basket

Hello! Today I have a fun and easy Easter basket idea to share. This week at Great Impressions we are showing different ideas for Easter gift wrappings. I chose to dress up a little basket I had on hand.

For my cut basket I stamped the super cute G519 Tutu Chicks image onto watercolor paper and watercolored them using Tombow markers and a Winsor and Newton #4 round brush. I then stamped the sentiment using B246 Happy Everything. I really dislike the Easter grass as it makes such a mess so I use tulle for my basket stuffing.

Chicky Gift Box

Hi, friends!  It's time for me to share another creation using fabulous stamps from the Great Impressions online store! This week, the DT is sharing some ideas for Easter Gift wrapping!  Today I have a sweet take-out box using some of our newest designs. I hope you like it!  Come and take a peek at my creation...

I started by stamping one of the chicks from the new G519 TuTu Chicks stamp onto watercolor paper.  I then colored her in with some Spectrum Noir markers and added glitter.  She was layered onto a punched scallop with liquid pearl dot accents.

I stamped the coordinating sentiment, D494 TuTu You, onto some white card and made it into a fun banner.  This was added to a stick pin and placed behind the punched image piece.

Another pin with a baker's twine bow tops the image.  The box was prepped with some patterned paper, a punched card border, and some grosgrain ribbon.  This is all ready for some Easter treats or small gifts!  What do you think?  I'd love to hear in the comments below!

That's all for me today!  I'll be back next Monday with more Easter goodness using stamps from the Great Impressions store.  I hope you join in our current challenge, and, if you use Great Impressions stamps, link them up in our Customer Gallery, too!  HUGS and happy stamping to you all!
